Stanmore - 1964

What is abundantly clear from the photographs in this blog is the loving care your mother had always taken of each and every one of you.

In early 1964 we moved into 7, Woodcroft Avenue in Stanmore. A modest semi-detached three-bedroom house build in the 1930s. I think we paid about £4,600 for it.

The major event of the year was, of course, the birth of Julia on 11 March.
